AL RUSTAQ: Work continues on Al Rustaq mountain road development and beautification project, with an implementation rate of 70 per cent so far.

The project is part of a series of development projects presently underway in the Wilayat of Al Rustaq, reflecting a focus on improving gateways, facades, and vital locations. This aligns with the historical and touristic significance of the Wilayat Al Rustaq, which boasts numerous natural, heritage, and tourist sites that attract visitors from across the Sultanate of Oman.

Al Rustaq mountain road has a particular importance being a prominent gateway to the wilayat. Its development and beautification will directly improve the overall landscape and enhance the visual experience for road users and visitors, while also adding an aesthetic touch that harmonizes with Al Rustaq’s natural environment and its historical and cultural identity. The project aims to bring about a qualitative transformation in the wilayat by developing its aesthetic and urban elements and raising the level of organization in the area. It would create a more attractive environment that aligns with the development the wilayat is witnessing across various developmental and service sectors.

The project reflects a constant trend towards implementing high-quality projects with a tangible impact at the level of the governorate and the wilayat. It would improve the quality of life, enhance the efficiency of vital sites while preserving local identity and highlighting the unique characteristics of the wilayat.
